Where X-ray or radiation leakage may potentially exist, view ports can also incorporate lead glass shielding to reduce the chance of seepage.
Lead glass window mounts are attached to the CF (ConFlat) flange exterior above the main viewport window and can be removed and replaced as and when necessary.
Standard fused silica and extended range viewports can be made from nonmagnetic mounting materials including 316 LN stainless steel, CP titanium and aluminium.
