In the late 1980’s Plastic Injection Moulding machines were purchased. This enabled Moores Glassworks to assist current clients providing plastic solutions in the military and avionics industries. It also led to mass production providing for large retail companies such as Marks and Spencers, HMV, Virgin, Sainsiburys and Homebase in everyday products.
Increased Market Share
The 1990’s and 2000’s have seen Moores Glassworks increase and develop its market share for many of its products. New industries were targeted and continued investment in the factory headquarters in the UK saw Moores continued to be a leader in the glassware industry. Moores assists greatly in the vacuum industry providing Vacuum Viewports and other components.
These are especially used in topical areas such as the solar market.
Moores Glassworks has been exporting industrial glass components all over the world for nearly 40 years.
